On The Corner is back on 17 September championing more brilliant, young, new music.
Another Tomorrow's Warriors alumni, Mali's music is influenced heavily by nature and artists as diverse as Frank Sinatra, Brian Blade and Antonio Carlos Jobim.
With an emphasis on melody and with a 'folk' tinge, Mali's beautiful playing belies her years. Be sure to catch her live this September!

The Kassa GJ Quartet is a rising London-based jazz outfit led by the acclaimed 17-year-old alto saxophonist and composer Kassa Green-Jakcsi.
Kassa is a talented 17-year-old alto saxophonist from London, currently studying at the Guildhall School of Music. Born and raised in Hackney, he started learning piano before discovering his love for the saxophone at 8 years old.
Mentored by UK jazz stalwarts through the Tomorrow's Warriors program, the band is known for performing powerful original compositions and modern interpretations of classic jazz standards and have performed at the Barbican, the Southbank Centre, as well as Love Supreme, We Out Here and Brick Lane Jazz festivals.
