Very few Hi-Fi components are as instantly recognisable as the original QUAD 33 and 303. We love them, servicing and repairing a few each week for our own stock, and on behalf of customers. We try always to keep originals in stock, supplied with the usual 12 month warranty.
So here's the new 2024 iteration - available individually as a preamp or power amp, or as a combo together. The new 33's set up for MM or MC phono cartridges - whoop, but is analogue only - it has no bluetooth(!!!!), or digital inputs, so you'll need to add a Wiim or Bluesound streamer to play Tidal, Spotify et al, or to hook in a TV nicely
Quad 33 Preamp with MM/MC Phono Input
QUAD 33 offers versatile analogue inputs, including RCA
AUX, balanced XLR, and a new phono input for MM and MC
cartridges. It feeds speakers via dedicated stereo Pre-outputs
with RCA and balanced XLR options, alongside an AUX
output for added functionality. All inputs remain fully
balanced, setting it apart from other preamplifiers.
Quad 303 Power Amp
Rated at 50 Watts into 8ohm speakers, it can also be bridged mono (one power amp is used for each speaker) to deliver 140 Watts
